After a private battle with breast cancer, Selina "Lyn" Mary Dykes (nee Coltman), passed away peacefully at the Carpenter Hospice. Loving wife of 45 years to Tom, adoring mother ‘mumsy' of Courtney (husband Brian) and "Nanny" to granddaughter Ashlyn. Deeply missed by sister, Dianne (Malaga, Spain), cousin Madeleine and her husband, Brian (Leicester, UK), nieces Dany and Rachael (UK). Lyn was an energetic lady who loved spending time with her family. She was an avid gardener, also known for her many creative talents and a great animal lover. Words cannot express our sadness. You will always be with us. Love you forever. A Memorial Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday, February 24, 2011.
