Obituary for Sam Vogl

Sam Vogl
Vogl, Sam
Sam passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 28, 2010, as a result of a tragic skiing accident, at the age of 17. Dearly loved son of Keith Vogl and Linda Astle. Much loved brother of Jake. Dear grandson of Charles and Caroline Astle, and John and Laura Vogl. Special person to Silvia Passalent and godson to Steve and Laura Babb. Sam lived, loved, and was loved more in his seventeen short years than many people experience in a lifetime. His passion was people and he loved his friends dearly. His laughter and kindness were infectious. He was having the time of his life skiing with a family he loved when he lost his life. He will be remembered forever by all whose life he has touched. Friends are invited to visit at St. Andrew's Anglican Church at the Parish Hall, 156 Main Street West, Grimsby on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of his life will be held at Trinity United Church, 100 Main Street West, Grimsby on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations to McNally House, 148 Central Avenue, Grimsby, L3M 4Z3, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755).
