Obituary for Salvatore "Sam" Leuzzi

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Sam Leuzzi on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Florida at the age of 38. Beloved son of Attilio and Teresa Leuzzi. Cherished and beloved brother of Rosanna Lucarelli (Domenico) and Cosimina Leuzzi (Fabio Berlingieri). Beloved uncle of Joseph, Teresa, Domenic and Julia. Beloved nephew of Graziella Chiaravalloti (the late Domenico), the late Antonietta Ferraro (Pasquale), the late Teodoro Basile (Enza), the late Emilio Leuzzi (Caterina) and the late Ida Daniele (the late Domenico). Sam will be sadly missed also by his many cousins and friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Salvatore Leuzzi (Rosina) and Francesco Basile (Cosimina). Sam was a kind, gentle soul, with a very big heart, who was very giving and always put others before himself. He will be terribly missed by all who loved and knew him. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. For those who wish to attend, Vigil Prayers 3:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona on Wednesday, March 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to McMaster Children's Hospital or Joy and Hope of Haiti, causes close to Sam's heart.
