MANN, Rosemary Graham (nee Tyrrill)

With family at her side, on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, passed away at the age of 75.

Rosemary was unwavering in her devotion and affection as mother to her cherished and loving children, Jeffrey and Julie (Dave), as wife to her adoring husband Donald, with whom she celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August, and as grandmother to treasured Claire, who brought renewed joy and laughter to her life. She will be sadly missed by her beloved sister Ann Mills, and all of the extended Mills clan, who have been true family through the years.


Bridge, golf, travel - many activities enriched her life, especially when shared with her wide circle of friends; her love of them and her desire to be with them knew no bounds. She leaves a legacy of many years of generous volunteer service, and countless happy memories of life in and around Burlington, Hamilton and Muskoka. She will be remembered with sadness at her passing, but with joy for a life well-lived. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday October 6 at 7 â€" 9 p.m. where there will also be a Service of Remembrance to Celebrate Rosemary's Life on Thursday October 7, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton Community Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
