HUGHES, Rose
With broken hearts the family of Rose Hughes announces her passing from Cancer. She was surrounded by her devastated family. Rose leaves behind her husband Gary Hughes, her four daughters, Denise (Ray), Margaret (Bill), Patricia, and Eileen and her three step-sons Gary (Stephanie), Doug, Brett (Kim), and two sisters Elizabeth Knott, and Jean DeBruyn (Jerry). She will also be sorely missed by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Rose is predeceased by her parents, and her sister Irene Herman. Rose was very active in the church, St. Raphael’s and spent many years as an ardent member of the C.W.L. We wish to express our sincere thanks to the parishioners of St. Raphael’s and Fr’s for their thoughts, prayers and visits. We would also like to thank the nurses from Acclaim Health and the PSW’s. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church, The Carpenter Hospice, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON 905-632-3333.)
