Slipped away peacefully at dawn on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Clarion Nursing Home, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth. Dear father of Carol Kasza (John), Darlene, Robert Allan (Kathy), Daniel, and the late Deborah Gale (2003). Cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chris Ambis and all the caring staff at Clarion. A private family "farewell" was held on Tuesday May 3, 2011 at Smith's Funeral Home- Stoney Creek Chapel.
