Ron passed away peacefully in Oakville on Sunday, February 13, 2005, age 71. Beloved husband and friend of Jackie. Dear father of Glen of Hamilton and Russ and Marianne of Burlington. Proud grandpa of Ron, Mike, Stephanie, Samantha and Lescia. Also survived by his sister Eileen (Allan) Tremills of Mount Forest. Long time friend of Bill Wilson. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 461 Elizabeth Street, Burlington on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
