MARTIN, Ronald Hambly â€" With heavy hearts, our family announces the peaceful passing of our wonderful Dad, with loving family surrounding him, on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of his one and only true love, Lola, for 62 years. Adored Dad of Cindy Waters (Marty), Stephanie Deacon (Fraser), and Linda Capretta (Dave). Loving and proud Papa of 10 grandchildren - Jessica (Paul), Kathryn (Kyle), Amy (Derek), Ashleigh, Melissa, Matthew, Kelly, Adam, Brandon (Robyn), Mark (Ela) and 3 great grandchildren - Thomas, Alyssa, and Elina. Dear brother of Shirley Weir and Doug Martin (Mary Lou). Ron was a long time member of the Hamilton Beach Rescue Unit and a lifetime employee of Robertson-Irwin Ltd. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one block north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Sunday, March 6 at 1:00 PM.,.
