It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the age of 68, with complications from Sepsis. He courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis with a positive attitude for 26 years. Roger will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carole, daughter Kelly (Jim), son Raymond, step-children Sheri (Roger) and Rick (Patti). Roger was a loving Papa to 8 fabulous grandchildren who will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by his sister Suzette, sister-in-law Eleanor (Walter), brother-in-law Barry (Christine) and by very special cousins Phyllis and Joanne (Jim). He will also be missed by his little yorkie Brooke and friends and neighbours. Roger was pre-deceased by his father Roland, mother Pauline, brother Roland and sister Jackie. Roger was an employee at Dofasco Arcelor Mittal for 40 years. Thank you to the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. C. Martin and other doctors who assisted with his care and to the CCAC and Paramed for the great care provided to Roger by Rhonda, Barbara, Liz, Sue and others. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Prayers service will take place at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 1 pm.
