Obituary for Robert William Shearer
SHEARER, Robert William -
Passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Darlene. Dear father of Rob (Meagan), James (Lisa), and Ali (Kirk). Proud grandpa/papa of Amaya, Zion, Kristina, Jesse, Kaleb, and Abigail. Bob will also be missed by his brothers Paul (Sandra) and Bruce (Caroline), his step-mother Adrienne, and many other extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 5-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 10:30am with reception to follow. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, donations in Bob’s memory to New Tribes Missions (Durham, Ontario) or The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
