Mann, Robert Archer-

Passed away at United Mennonite Home, on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in his 82nd year. Devoted husband of Jean (nee Joss). Beloved father of Barbara Anyon and her husband David of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Richard Mann and his wife Caroline of St. Catharines and Alison Potts and her husband Brad of Beamsville. Cherished grandfather of Trevor Anyon (Bev), Michelle Drury (John), Danielle Scott (Jordin), Jeffrey Mann, Katie Potts and Rebecca Potts and great-grandfather of Kyle, Taylor, James, Connor, Ben and Cassidy. Dear brother of Reginald Mann (Sally) of Ottawa and John Mann (late Elizabeth) of Calgary and brother-in-law of Elsie McGuire (late Jim) of Barrie and Margaret Chandler (Don) of Welland. Bob was born in Niagara Falls where he met and married his wife Jean. Their three children were also born in The Falls and still have connections in the surrounding area. Bob worked for CIBC for 40 years, retiring at the age of 60 from the downtown Hamilton branch. Jean and Bob have lived in Grimsby for over 40 years, making friends, playing at the local curling club, volunteering at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and golfing at Twenty Valley. Bob was also a member of the Grimsby Probus Club helping in the community. He loved and was loved greatly by his family and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will take place at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Sunday, January 16, 2011, from 1 â€" 4 pm. If desired, memorial contributions to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or the Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
