Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Midgley) Francis. Much loved father of Katherine and her husband David Parkes of Burlington, Joan Eddie of Ancaster and Robert Jr. and his wife Janet of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Christopher (Judith) and Josh. Bob was the former owner of Commercial Transport. After retiring, Bob worked for a number of years at McMaster University in the Science Labs. Visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Friday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 2 p.m. Cremation.
