MOORE, Richard (Ric) -

Peacefully with family by his side, at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the age of 66. Loving husband of Cheryl Moore (nee Ahamad) for 26 years. Cherished father of Amanda Coo, and grandfather of Tyler Coo. Dear brother of Linda Freethy (Nelson) and Dorrel Phinnemore (John). Ric will also be missed by the Moore and Ahamad families, many other extended family and numerous friends and colleagues. Special thanks to the staff at the Joseph Brant Cancer Clinic and the Juravinski Hospital. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 4-7pm, where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 18, 2016 beginning at 1:00pm. Private Cremation. If desired and in lieu of flowers, donations in Ric’s memory to The Carpenter Hospice or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
