Pietro (Peter) Pastore
Peter joined his Lord and Saviour, November 29, 2016 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, in his 86th year. Beloved and treasured husband to Carmela for 47 years. Cherished and devoted father to Grace (Lambros). Loving brother to Immacolata (Frank), Nilla (Frank), Josephine and brother in law to Pina. Predeceased by his siblings Carmela (Ricardo), Maria (Pasquale), Michele, Mina (Vince), and brother in law Tony. Uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Peter enjoyed a long career of grounds keeping at both Glen Abbey Golf Course and Oakville Golf Club. He continued his passion for gardening well into his later years. The family would like to give special thanks to the team at Burlington Dialysis Center for their care the last two years, as well as the ICU team at Joseph Brant Hospital, for the compassion shown to Peter and family in his last days. Peter was a gentle, caring and loving man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (2265 Headon Rd., Burlington) on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Traflagar Lawn Cemetery. For those who wish memorial donations to Oakville Hospital Foundation, attention Burlington Dialysis Center would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
