Peacefully, at Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton, on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late James McWhirter of 53 years. Loving mother of Tom McWhirter and his wife Edith of Burlington, Ginny Ward and her husband Jack of Tuxedo Park, New York, and Joseph McWhirter of Toronto. Loved grandmother of Jim McWhirter and his wife Sandy, Suzan Grace and her husband Richard, Tara Kasper and her husband Justin, Michael McWhirter and Elliot McWhirter. Great-grandmother of Caitlin, Thomas and Alissa. Dearest sister of Millie Ross. Phyllis is predeceased by her brothers Leslie and Maurice. Special thanks to the staff of Idlewyld Manor.
