The light of our lives has gone out. Peter Mario De Freitas left this life on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the arms of his loving wife Patricia. He leaves behind the light of his life, their son, Anthony. Family meant everything to Peter. Also grieving are his brother Michael (Francine), sisters Donna (Heinz), and Alicia, his mother-in-law Ellie Rudolph, brother-in-law Jim Rudolph (Teresa) and many other in-laws and out-laws too numerous to mention. His second passion was fast cars and he leaves many precious memories with all who had the privilege to work with him, to watch him race, or just listen to his stories. Cremation. A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Peter’s Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
