Obituary for Patricia Anne Allen (Robertson)
ALLEN, Patricia (nee Robertson) –
June 1934 – May 2016
Patricia lived a long and happy life. Having been a long time member of the Burlington Golf & Country Club and the Indian Wood Golf and Country Club in Florida. She enjoyed many world holidays in Europe, Mexico and the Bahamas. Left to mourn her are her husband Norman, sons Derek Gatley and James Gatley (Julie), and daughter Karen Malizia (Ian). Proud grandmother of 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. Pat died on Friday, May 20, 2016 from the Ravages of Alzheimers. Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Funeral Service will be held at the Interment in the Robertson Family Plot at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Hopefully her friends will raise a glass in her Memory. (Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333).
She burned her candle at both ends
It did not last the night
But ah her foes and oh her friends
It was a lovely light
