MITCHELL, O. Elrose
Passed away surrounded by family, at Burloak Long Term Care, Burlington on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Elrose (nee MacLeod) Mitchell, 91 years, was formerly of Kingston. Predeceased by her husband, Capt. A James Mitchell, daughter Alison LaForce, brother Ken and sister Doris Corbould. Elrose is survived by her children, Bill Mitchell (Monique), Jim Mitchell (Carol), Candy Skrapek (Wayne), Jacquie Mitchell; dear friend Cindy Simpson (Mike); grandchildren, Patrick and Gavin, Jamie and Kate, Erin and Colin, Sara and Megan, great granddaughter Maeve, and sister Connie Hunt (John). Special thanks to the staff at Burloak LTC for their exceptional care and compassion. Private cremation will take place. For those who wish, donations in memory of Elrose to The Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
