Obituary for Nan Lowes

LOWES: Nan (nee Cameron)
Peacefully, surrounded by her whole family, passed away at the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington on Monday, November 28, 2005 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Ronald for almost 50 years. Loving mother of Michael (Cheryl), Maureen Mein (Keith), Ron (Carole), Doug, Glenn, and mother-in-law of Barbara Johnsen. Cherished Grandma of 9 grandchildren. Dear sister of Don Cameron, Dave Cameron and Mary Cameron, sister-in-law of Al McCracken, Bob Lowes (Diane), Darlene Rutherford (Fred) and Esther Patineau (Cliff). Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Steven, parents Sarah and David Cameron, brother Rob and sisters Margaret and Thea. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 2, 2005 at 1 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Juravinski Cancer Centre, the Carpenter Hospice, Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to thank the nurses and staff of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital - 5 South, and the staff at the Carpenter Hospice.
