Muriel Jean Holmes
Peacefully at Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Monday September 21, 2015 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Kenneth Holmes (November 2007). Loving mother to Brian, Steven (Cheryl), Kirk (Lesley), Mark (Tanya), Michael (Maxine). Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Bradley (Brianna), Emma, and Lauren. Dear sister of Ross (Beryle) Cullen of Orangeville, ON and Donald (Ann) Cullen of Mapleridge, BC. Jean will be missed by many extended family and friends. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 12:00 pm where a Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. For those who wish, donations in memory of Jean to the Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
