Michiharu "Michi"  Madokoro
MADOKORO, Michiharu “Michi”-
Peacefully passed away on the morning of his 100th birthday, Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Hampton Terrace Nursing Home, Burlington. Beloved husband of the late Sue for 68 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Lorraine (David Mitobe), grandchildren Steven (Julie), and Alison (Travis Manning), great-grandsons Kenzo and Kai, and Ethan, Owen, Aiden and newborn Isaac, sisters Yaiko Mary Seko and Kuni Frances Nakagawa and brother Thomas all of B.C., and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Marianne and brother Yoshio John. Cremation has taken place. The family are so grateful to have celebrated Michi’s 100th birthday with his family and friends on Saturday and will treasure those memories forever. Respecting his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Special thanks to the staff at Hampton Terrace for their compassion and care over the years.
