FLYNN, Michael Anthony
September 15, 1939-January 18, 2011
Michael died peacefully at the
Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital,
Burlington, on Tuesday, January 18,
2011. Beloved husband and best
friend of Alison, nee Riddell, and
loving father of Joe Flynn and his
wife Alison Drury of San Francisco,
California. He is survived by
his brother, Dr. Dennis Flynn and
sister-in-law, Cheryl of Redlands,
California and also his sisters-in-law,
Margaret Freeman and Helen Love.
He will be missed by his many
nephews and nieces. Michael was
a science and mathematics teacher
with the Hamilton-Wentworth
District School Board, and a member
of the Hamilton Golf and Country
Club. Cremation has taken place. A
reception to remember Michael and
to visit with the family will be held
at the Hamilton Golf and Country
Club, 232 Golf Links Road, Ancaster,
on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from
2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. If you wish, a
donation to the Joseph Brant
Memorial Hospital in Michael's
memory would be greatly
appreciated by the family.
