Peacefully at Maple Villa Long-Term Care Centre, Burlington, on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the age of 86. Loving husband for 61 years to Shirley (nee Lembke). Dear father of Kerry Meyer and her husband Larry, Mark McConnell and his wife Brenda, father-in-law of Judy McConnell and predeceased by his son Michael. Mo, will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Matthew and his wife Ruth, Katelyn and Laurel McConnell, and Christopher and Lisa Meyer. Survived by his sister Marie Pifher (the late Albert). He will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mo was an Air Force Veteran of WWII and an employee for Bell Canada for 35 years. A Private Family Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mo to the Alzheimer Society or Maple Villa Long-Term Care Centre, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
