SMITH, Mary " Nora" (nee Neyland) 1921-2016
Passed away at Ridgeview Long Term Care on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the age of 95. Cherished wife of the late Robert Smith (1994) and dear mother to Anne, Margaret, Catherine (Morgan) Snow, Robert and Edwin. Loving Grandmother of Fiona Snow. Dear sister of the late James Neylan, Austin (Betty) Neyland and the late Patricia Kelly all of New Zealand. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nora was a long time member of St. John the Baptist Church CWL. The family is eternally grateful for the love and care from the staff at Ridgeview LTC, Gage House. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm where a Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic, 2016 Blairholm Crescent, Burlington on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment at a later date at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Nora may be made to the Good Shepherd Centres.
