Beloved wife of Glenn Shine for 41 years. Much-loved mother of Ann Krajcar (Dean) of Burlington, Elizabeth Larsen (David) of Saskatoon and Patrick of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Lauren, Elliott, Sarah, and Oliver. Dear sister of Bill Deir (Jane) of Gananoque, Paul Deir (Ellie), Larry Deir (Patricia), all of Kingston and Danny Deir (Maureen) of Lansdowne. Predeceased by her brother, Michael Deir. Special Thanks to the volunteers and staff of The Carpenter Hospice for their compassion and care given to Mary Joan and her family. Memorial Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight light north of QEW) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in Gananoque, Ontario.
