Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, in her 86th year. Mary Dowie, beloved daughter of the late William and Marjorie Dowie. Mary will be missed by her dear sister Marjorie F. Dunlop and her late husband Bill Dunlop, niece Mary Ann Park, great- niece Laura Park, great-nephew Conor Park, cousin Ruth Larwood and family. Mary attended Strathallan School, was a member of the Red Cross, Hamilton Golf & Country Club and the Junior League of Hamilton. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 12 noon until time of the Service of Remembrance in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton.
