Laba, Martha (nee Baraniuk)
Peacefully, at the Arbour Creek Long Term Care Centre, Hamilton, on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Walter Laba. Loving mother of Walter "Jim" Laba of British Columbia, Deborah Hunter and her husband Michel of Guelph and Linda Kitchen of Hamilton. Loved grandmother of Nathaniel, Martha and Matthew.
Martha will be fondly remembered by her many family members. Special thanks to the caring staff of Arbour Creek and the Staywell Program of St. Joseph's Healthcare. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby (905-945-2755) on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 9 am until the time of Funeral Prayers at 10 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Queen's Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
