June 30, 1927 – August 9, 2015
Peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Laurence Cheyne. Loving mother of Bruce Cheyne and his wife Darlene. Cherished grandmother of Dylan and Kelsey. She will be dearly missed by her sister Evelyn Bettle. Marjorie is predeceased by her parents Rupert and Helen (nee Lyall-Grant) Davies as well as her brothers Eric, Lyall, Russell and Robert. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1p.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marjorie are asked to please consider the Canadian Cancer Society, The Carpenter Hospice or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
