Obituary for Marjorie Black

Marjorie Black
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie, late Wednesday evening. Mum led a full, healthy, well-lived, fun life. Loving wife of Norman Arthur (August 1999) for almost 48 years. Cherished mother to Cathy, Norman (Diane), and forever missed daughter and sister Jacqueline. Loving grandmother of Gregory and Jackie.
Mum was a gifted knitter and was generous in providing family and friends with her handiwork. She loved cooking, playing a good game of bridge, enjoying her scotch and entertaining with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A special thank you to the staff and community at Heritage Place Retirement Home and Dr. Reimer and Dr. Garland and the wonderful nurses at Joseph Brant Hospital. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Port Nelson United Church, 3132 South Drive, Burlington on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 3:00pm. For those who wish, donations in memory of Marjorie to the Parkinson Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
