It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Marion on March 1, 2016 at the Milton District Hospital. Loving wife of the late Hugh MacDonald (September 2014) for 60 years. Dear mother of Janice and her husband Michael Cassidy. Proud Grammie of Shannen. Survived by her sister Kathleen and her brother in law John “J.D.” MacDonald. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret (the late Donald) MacDonald and Isabel (“J.D.”) MacDonald and her brothers Leonard, John and Alphonsus. Special thanks to the staff at Martindale Gardens and the Medical Surgery Unit at Milton District Hospital for all of their care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday, March 7 from 3-6 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Tuesday March 8, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date.
