Tittarelli, Maria (nee Spinozzi)

Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in her 91st year, Maria entered the loving arms of the Lord. Predeceased by her beloved husband Antonio and cherished daughter Rosina. Loving mother of Gino and his wife Gloria, and Sam and his wife Mary. Proud nonna of Carla (Jerry), Erica (Nathan), guardian angel Katie, Anthony (Rebecca), and Andrea (Cody). Cherished bisnonna of Isabella, Noah, Matteo, Sophia, and Olivia. Sister of the late Pasquale (the late Anna), the late Celestino (Anunziata), and the late Romolo (the late Giovanna). Sister-in-law of the late Carlo (Maria), the late Francesca (the late Nicola), and the late Maria (the late Orazio). Maria will also be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Fernandez and the kind staff at Ridgeview Long Term Care, and the compassionate staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, 4th Floor Palliative Care Unit. The care that was given to Maria will always be appreciated. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (corner of Nash Road and Barton Street), Hamilton on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery . If desired, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
