HERMAN, Marguerite Patricia (Rita) At her home on Sunday, October 10, 2010, Rita Herman (nee Hill) in her 80th year. Dearly loved mother of Patricia and her husband Don Van Alstyne, Kathleen and her husband Larry Fogal, Dan Herman and his wife Inger and Sandra Durand. Cherished grandmother of Jenny, Courtney, Greg, Geoff, Cody, Katie, Christopher, Andrew, Meagan, Sarah and Michelle. Dear great-grandmother to Rowan and Tristen. Predeceased by her brother Robert and her parents James and Margaret Hill. Rita will be sadly missed by Frank. Rita was a former employee of Burlington Health Foods for over 20 years. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant St. (one block north of City Hall) Burlington (905-632-3333) on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Osteoporosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
