WILLAN (Renouf), Margery Joan
January 22, 1921, Cupar, SK. - February 17, 2016, Burlington, ON.
Surrounded by her family and friends Joan Willan passed away peacefully on February 17, 2016 at the age of 95 years. Joan was predeceased by her husband Gordon Willan, the love of her life, as well as her two brothers John and Frank Renouf. Joan is survived by Gordon’s two daughters Grace (Jozef) and Karen (Pierre), grandsons Michael and Kevin, as well as her sister in law, Joan Renouf, her brother Geoffrey Renouf (Gloria), many nieces and nephews and God Daughter Carolyn Keegan (David). Joan's generosity and warm heart touched many in her Burlington community over the years. She will always be remembered for her elegance and grace. A warm thanks to the team of nurses and doctors at Joseph Brant Hospital for the compassionate care Joan received. At Joan’s request private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
