Surrounded by her loving family, went to be with her wonderful Saviour on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. Beloved wife of Dr. Maher Naguib Abdel-Malak. Cherished mother of Bahy Mehany & his wife Imrie; Ramy Mehany & his wife Sarah. Dear sister of Sonia Adly & her husband Mamdouh, and Nellie Youssef. Much loved sister-in-law of Magdy & his wife Samia, Mervat & her husband Adeeb. Gigi will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Friends are invited to share in a time of memory with Gigi’s family at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington for visitation on Monday, February 15th, 2016 from 6–9 pm. A memorial tribute will be held during the visitation from 7–8 pm. A service celebrating Gigi’s life and glorious homecoming will be held at Harvest Bible Chapel, 500 Great Lakes Boulevard, Oakville on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 at 12:15 pm. Interment immediately to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 1030 Greenwood Drive, Burlington. Reception to follow at Harvest Bible Chapel from 3:30–5:30 pm. Those who wish to make a donation in memory of Gigi are asked to consider Light for All Nations or Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
