CULKEEN, Loretta Marie (nee Holtforster)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Loretta Marie Culkeen. Loretta completed her journey peacefully at the Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington in her 80th year. We take comfort that Loretta has now been reunited with Michael James(Jim), her husband of 54 years, who left us January 23, 2004.
Loving mother of Joan, Michael (Noella), Terry, Patrick (Margaret), Samantha (Terry).
Loving Grandmother of Meaghan, Shannon, Andrew, Dallas, Lyndsay, Travis, Austen and Paige. Loretta is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, particularly Lois, Audrey, Lorna, Clarence and Charles, as well as many Grandnieces and Grandnephews
Predeceased by her parents Frank and Adelia Holtforster, sisters Cecelia (Woods), Helen(Nadrofsky), brothers Alec, Carl and Raymond. She is survived by her sisters Francis, Alma (Pushkarenko) and Margaret (Travers).
Visitation will take place at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 1pm. Spring interment St. Paul's Cemetery, Gravenhurst. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
