McGrath, Linda Maria (nee Gallant)
Peacefully, after a brief illness at Joseph Brant Hospital on November 1, 2010. Linda McGrath, cherished wife of John McGrath and loving mother of Paul (Kristine) and Ryan McGrath. Devoted grandmother of Abaigeal McGrath. Beloved daughter of Irene and the late Earl Gallant and dear sister of Sharon (Larry) Richardson, Elaine (Mike) Wagg, Roger (Kathleen) Gallant and Alan (Lynn) Gallant. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Linda recently retired after 36 years of nursing at St. Joseph's Hospital Hamilton and has been an active member of the rug hooking community. She touched the lives of many through caring for her patients and sharing her artistic abilities through her creative projects with people from Burlington, to across Canada and the United States. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Private cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Joseph Brant Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by family.
