Martino, Linda Maria (nee Boria)-
With saddened hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Linda, on Friday, April 2, 2010, in her 49th year. Left to hold onto the most precious memories is her husband Pino. Cherished daughter of Antonietta and the late Zenobio Boria. Adored daughter-in-law of Francesco and Nina Martino. Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Lisa Barroso (Joe), Marc Boria (Andrea), Sara Servello (Ralph) and Maria Martino. Forever loved and admired aunt of Kayla and Lia Barroso, Lauren, Julia and Jonah Boria, Tony, Erin, Frankie, Sara and Lucy Servello. Her smile was infectious and her selfless ways truly enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her classic, endearing qualities lead her to a teaching career in which she took great pride. Family and friends will be received at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday from 2-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. As per her wishes, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Many thanks to all of her doctors and nurses for bringing wonderful care, comfort and support to Linda throughout her journey.
