Peacefully passed away at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, March 18, 2005, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (1997)and the late Shirlee (2004). Loving father of John and his wife Kathy, and Lisa Verduyn and her husband Aric. Cherished Grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Dear brother of Bertha, Leila and Marjorie and predeceased by sister Ida. Lovingly remembered by Mark and Leslie Forsyth, Catherine and Joe Lehocki, Helen and Dave Harris, Jennifer and Doug Marks-Gibb, Keri and Larry Wyatt and their families. Les was an honourary member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada, and Park Bible Church, Burlington. Special thanks to Dr. Vakani and the staff of J. B. M. H. for their kindness and care. Friends will be received at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m and Sunday 2-5 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Les`s Life will be held at Park Bible Church, 1500 Kerns Road, Burlington, on Monday March 21, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington.
