Porter, Lenore "Lee" Norene (nee Horning) - April 9, 1925 - March 5, 2016
Mom passed "kicking and screaming the whole way", at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her true love of 49 years, John Frank Porter. Much loved Mom of Leslie (Tony) Russo, Lori (Peter) Hendriksen, and Greg (Joanna) Porter. Beloved Nana of Joshua (Ange), Elizabeth (Klaud), Adam (Shelby), Benjamin (Alison), Christina, Matthew and Benito (Christina). Nana Lee of Zach and "Mini-Wheat." Predeceased by her parents Reuben and Norma (Louise) and her brother Reuben. Mom was a fixture of W.R. Boehm & Son and Fisher Stevenson Boehm Insurance Brokers in Grimsby for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
