Jennings, Lawrence "Larry" Stewart
Peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby on Friday, February 25, 2011, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Bond) and the late Maureen (nee Obermeyer) (1990). Sadly missed by his family; children Bill Jennings of Toronto, Joanne (Jim) MacDonald of Guelph, Terri Jennings (Neil Long) of Grimsby, Paul (Michelle) Jennings of Hamilton and grandchildren Kerri and Geoff MacDonald, and Christa Geddes and Nicole (Regan) Standing. Also missed by the extended Obermeyer family and friends. Larry was a generous man who dearly loved his family. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at Deer Park Villa, Grimsby for their extra care of Larry during the last 4 years. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Sunday, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
