It is with the utmost sadness that the family announces the passing of Laura, surrounded by her loving family at Clarion Nursing Home, Stoney Creek on Monday, January 17, 2011, in her 87th year. Dear and loving mother of Filomena Tucciarocco, Anna Rosa Cellamare and her husband Rocco, Josie Falco and her husband Paul, Andrew and his wife Dora, Tina Tassone and her husband Cossimo. Laura was the cherished nonna of 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Antonio Roppo of Italy. Predeceased by her parents Rocco and Anna Rosa Roppo. She will be deeply mourned and missed by all those who knew her. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday from 5 - 9 pm, funeral prayers to be announced at later time. A funeral mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (at the intersection of Barton and Gage) Hamilton on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlinton.
