Czernik, Ksenofont "Ken"
Peacefully at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Catherine Czernik (nee Daley) for 57 years. Loving father of Natalia Carroll and her husband Don of PEI and Andrew Czernik and his wife Elizabeth of Toronto. Loving and loved grandfather of Drew and Katie. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family in Canada, England and Russia. Ken was a decorated veteran from 1939-1947. Visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Friday May 19, 2006 at 9:30 am to 10:15 am then to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm Avenue (Brant St. at Blairholm Ave.) where the Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:30 am. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joseph Brant Memorial Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
