KNIGHT, Kenneth Gordon
Ken Knight, beloved husband and
father, passed away on Saturday,
January 29, 2011, due to heart
failure. He leaves his wife Adele, son
Matthew (Jeni) and daughter
Melissa Sinding (Michael). Ken also
leaves behind his sister Lois
Hutchison (Andrew), in-laws Marshall
and Ann McLean and Bob and Betty
Lou (deceased) DesRoches. Ken will
be missed by his nieces, nephews
and friends. Ken's life passions were
animals, travel, golf and his work in
public transit. He worked in many
cities in the U.S. and Canada,
designing and building subways and
light rail lines. Visitation at SMITH'S
FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line
(one stoplight north of Q.E.W.),
Burlington, 905-632-3333, on
Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
where a Funeral Service will be held
on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at
10:30 a.m. Private interment in Pine
Hills Cemetery at a later date. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made
to Burlington Humane Society or
The Carpenter Hospice.
