Obituary for Kenneth Hubert "Ken" Andrews
ANDREWS, Kenneth Hubert
Ken was called home to be with the Lord, on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the age of 87. Loving husband of Jan. Cherished father of Debbie and Jenny Andrews (Brian). Proud grandfather of Ken, Peter (Terri), Robert (Alison), Mary (Patrick) and Breken. Great-grandfather of Atticus. Ken will also be fondly remembered by his step-sons Terry and Steven (Toni) Gilmore and step-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Andrew, Hunter and Christian. Early on Ken was a real-estate broker and later operated an auto parts and machine shop business in Burlington. He was also known locally as a successful car racer. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 12 noon until time of Service of Remembrance beginning at 1 pm, with reception to follow at the funeral home. If desired, donations in Ken’s memory to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
