Born January 8, 1965 in London, Ontario, went to be with her heavenly father after fighting Ovarian Sarcoma on, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington. Beloved daughter of Roberta Wilson, Bill Doig and her stepmom Maxine. Kelly is loved and missed greatly by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Kelly graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1988. She worked as a nurse in St. Thomas and Hamilton. She went to Brock University and became a teacher, working at Ancaster Senior Public School, where she taught art and other subjects to intermediate students. Kelly spent two summers as a nurse at Muskoka Woods and two summers as an English Teacher to educators in Rwanda. A sincere and grateful thanks to the staff at Juravinski Cancer Clinic and Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, "5 South" for your heart, sense of humour, and professional care for Kelly. A celebration of Kelly's Life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2 o'clock at Royal Botanical Gardens, 680 Plains Rd. West, Burlington, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciatively received by the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation designated specifically to Â"Ovarian Sarcoma Research" and Right to Play.
