Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Carpenter Hospice in her 89th year. Kathryn Fisher, dear mother of Carole Fisher of Hamilton and Peter (Darlene) Fisher of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Annie. Kay will be sadly missed by her sisters June and Helen as well as her brother Bob. Kay was very active member of the Burlington Arts Centre and enjoyed volunteering within the community. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday from 7-9 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at East Plains United Church, 375 Plains Road East, Burlington, on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:30 am. Cremation has taken place. In Kay's memory, donations made to the Carpenter Hospice or the Burlington Arts Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
