ENGLAND, Kathleen Eleanor

Went to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 10, 2011 in her 81st year after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kathleen was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Frances and Albert England and sisters' Alice (Alex) Harrison and Grace England. Cherished and loved sister of Robert and his wife Grace and Aunt to nieces and nephews Marcia (Steve) Lovegrove, Susan (Mike) Cukrovani, Janice (Bill) Thompson, Joanne (Michael) Malone, Paul (Kris) Harrison, Bruce (Brenda) England, Barb England, Donna (Wayne) Leung and Debra (Eric) Hilborn. Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. Kathleen worked for many years as a representative for Pioneer Girls in Central and Western Ontario teaching and mentoring leaders and young girls and was involved in the establishment of Camp Cherith in Walkerton, Ontario. Kathleen was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Burlington, involved in many aspects of the ministry. Kathleen will be fondly remembered by the many friends she made through her years of service. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, April 14, 3:00 â€" 5:00 pm and 7:00 â€" 9:00 pm Committal Service to take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington on Friday April 15, 2011 at 10:30 am. followed by a Memorial Service at Calvary Baptist Church, 2458 St. Frances Drive, Burlington at 1:00 pm. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to Camp Cherith or Carpenter Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family. A special thank you to all CCAC, Comcare and Red Cross workers and the staff and volunteers' at Carpenter's Hospice who so graciously cared for Kathleen over the past several months.
