Obituary for Katharina Mecs

Suddenly at her home in Burlington, Ontario, on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, Katharina (nee Bertleff) Mecs in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernst Mecs. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Katharina Bertleff. Katharina is survived by her sister, Rossina Rossberg and by her many nieces, Cristel, Hetta, Susie, her many other nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Doris Foster for her care and support over the last number of years. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITHS FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Saturday February 27, 2010 at 1 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
