Obituary for Karl H. Litz

LITZ, Karl H.

Passed away peacefully at his home on November 3, 2010 in his 74th year. Karl was the beloved husband of the late Anna Litz (2009). He is survived by his son Gordon Rapedius and wife Kimberley, his daughter Marion Black, five Grandchildren Krista Rapedius-Brown (Joshua), Vanessa Rapedius, Melanie Black-Guthrie (Terry), Jim Black, Hilary Rapedius, three great grandchildren, April, Samantha, James and sister-in-law Elsbeth (Tony) Viksne and family, brother Clauspeter Litz (Michelle) and family. Predeceased by brother Siegfried (Ziggy) Litz (Brigitte). Karl is fondly remembered as the founder of Sinful Desserts, New Street Florists and Karlanna Schnitzel House, as well as a former head chef at the Burlington Golf and Country Club. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of the QEW) 905-632-3333 on Monday November 8, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Service of Remembrance at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Urn Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
