It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Seagers at her residence on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Beloved wife of the late John Henry Seagers (March 21, 2011). Loving mother of Kathleen Seagers (J.C Smith). Cherished grandmother of Abbey Marie Seagers. Karen will be fondly remembered by Lesley Ibberson. Survived by Jay Seagers. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Evelyn Wortley. Karen will be dearly missed by her siblings Liz (Michael), Tom (Pat), Lenny (Judy) and Paul (Melanie). Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Funeral Prayers will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 1p.m. Reception to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Karen are asked to please consider the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
